Community Services / Teen & Young Parent Program

If you or someone you know is a teen or young parent, please feel free to complete our inquiry form. The Teen & Young Parent Program (TYPP) is designed to support and empower young parents. Through our collaborative efforts, we connect parents with education for both prenatal and parenting, support to remain in school, and the tools they need to ensure that their families are happy and healthy. Pregnancy and parenting can be exciting and overwhelming all at once, and with it brings countless questions. NECC’s Teen & Young Parent Program works to provide families with young children the support to live healthy lives and works to increase educational outcomes for the parents and their children.

Just a few of the services we can connect parents with include:

  • pregnancy testing
  • counseling
  • childbirth and parenting classes
  • tutoring and study groups

  • transportation assistance
  • job search support
  • doula services
