Ways to Celebrate Provider Appreciation Day

Show your child care providers how much they matter!

You do not need a big budget to make a provider feel appreciated. Small gestures often have the biggest impact.

10 meaningful ways to celebrate:

  • Say thank you in person.
  • Write a heartfelt note.
  • Record a thank-you video with children or families.
  • Give a small gift, such as books, classroom supplies, or a potted plant.
  • Have your child bring a handmade sign, poster, or balloons.
  • Share a social media shoutout. Tag your provider and use #ProviderAppreciationDay or #ThankYouChildCare.
  • Host a small celebration with children and families.
  • Offer to help with a task, such as cleanup or bringing supplies.
  • Treat them to lunch, coffee, or a gift card to their favorite place.
  • Send a virtual bouquet or e-card.

Tip: Even small acts of appreciation can boost morale and remind providers how much their work matters. However you choose to celebrate, take time to say #ThankYouChildCare.
