Our goal at the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative is to improve the quality of care for at-risk children; we accomplish this through our programs, advocacy, and training. To better provide these opportunities, we work with the best Nebraska early childhood education teachers and provide them with high quality career opportunities. When openings become available at one of our member centers, we look for talented individuals that want to share their gifts, work collaboratively with their team, and actively strive to improve themselves every day in pursuit of our goal.

Our Education Assistance Program
Research has shown that the biggest determinate in the quality of care for children is the education level of those caring for them. High quality Nebraska early childhood education careers can be difficult to come by without the proper qualifications and certifications. If you are interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education, we would love to work with you to help find the path that best suits you. Explore a variety of education assistance options that include our scholarship program, tuition reimbursement, and many professional development opportunities so that you can continue to advance in your career. You can also earn your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential at no cost when you join our team.
Omaha Early Learning Centers
The Omaha Early Learning Centers, Inc., in partnership with Omaha Public Schools, is a community-based nonprofit organization which operates high-quality early learning programs for low-income children ages birth to three. Each of these modern facilities occupy their own building on an elementary school campus in one of Omaha’s high-need neighborhoods. The Early Learning Center at Skinner is on the campus of Skinner Magnet in North Omaha. And the Early Learning Center at Gateway is on the campus of Gateway Elementary in South Omaha. A third center, scheduled to open in 2019, is being built adjacent to Howard Kennedy Elementary in North Omaha.
Educare Omaha & Lincoln
Educare is an innovative partnership between the public and private sectors to create a more efficient and effective early learning program. They utilize a research-based program that prepares young children for school and a specially designed environment that nurtures early learning and sends a bold message about the value of investing in the first five years. Educare Indian Hill is on the campus of Indian Hill Elementary in South Omaha. Educare Kellom is on the campus of Kellom Elementary, North of Downtown Omaha. And Educare Lincoln is the third Educare school built in Nebraska and is connected to Belmont Elementary.
