Tell us about yourself!
I am a grandmother/guardian of a 4 and 5-year-old. I have lived in Lincoln for 22 years and have 3 grown children. My favorite pastime is painting, and my hobbies are singing, reading, and drawing.
What made you want to become a Parent Ambassador?
I found out through a conference in D.C. I wanted to join because I wanted to make a difference in not only my grandkids’ lives but all Nebraska children and families.
What do you see as the greatest need for your community?
Early childhood education and resources
What do you hope to accomplish during your Ambassadorship?
To help influence our policy-makers regarding the need for early education.
