Licensing Toolkit Partnership Mentors

Support the growth and sustainability of quality child care in your community! Through the Licensing Toolkit Training of Trainers (TOT), NECC partners with community organizations to train individuals to become mentors for the NECC Licensing Toolkit program.

 

What’s included in the Licensing Toolkit TOT?

  • Comprehensive, live, virtual 19-hour training in the NECC Licensing Toolkit program by our Quality Child Care Partnership team
  • Hands-on, thoroughly engaging lessons on how to conduct each aspect of the Licensing Toolkit

 

What are the benefits of becoming a Licensing Toolkit Partner Mentor?

  • Contributes to establishing small child care businesses in your community
  • Helps increase the number of licensed child care providers
  • Gives families more access to quality child care
  • Supports the job market in your community, both for parents and families and for child care providers

 

Who should apply to become a Licensing Toolkit Partner Mentor?

  • Early childhood professionals who are sponsored by a local organization or agency
  • Early childhood professionals who are prepared to commit to a 2-year mentoring commitment (per provider)
  • Dedicated individuals who are willing to support at least two local Licensing Toolkit providers in their region
