Tell us about yourself!

My name is Vicki Chandler-Smith. I have owned and operated an in-home daycare for 20 years. My husband and I have been foster parents for 6 years. We have 7 children and 9 grandchildren. I enjoy reading and playing with our multitude of animals.

What made you want to become a Parent Ambassador?

I learned about the program from a Facebook post.

What do you see as the greatest need for your community?

Services for children. The waitlist for children in the system is long!

What do you hope to accomplish during your Ambassadorship? 

I want to be a voice.

Who or what inspires you?

Anyone who is willing to advocate for children in need.
